Experience the contemporary sounds of the Chernicoff-Rácz-Vasco Trio at the Mexican Cultural Institute. Graduates of the Latin American Center for Graduate Studies in Music (LAMC), the group is violinist Lydia Chernicoff, cellist Dorotea Rácz, and pianist Rodrigo Vasco. The trio will play a selection of 20th and 21st century pieces by both Spanish and Mexican contemporary composers.
The Latin American Center for Graduate Studies in Music (LAMC) was created in 1984 to promote the study, research and performance of Ibero-American music. This includes the compilation of a complete and specialized library of scores, books and recordings of Ibero-American music and fostering the exchange of students, scholars, performers, composers, musicologists and music educators between Ibero-American countries, North America, and the Caribbean region.
